The Franklin I. & Irene List Saemann Foundation
The Franklin I. and Irene List Saemann Foundation was created by the Saemanns to benefit culture, education and health care.
The primary mission of the Foundation is to support Wartburg College, a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Wartburg, located in Waverly, Iowa, was founded by Irene List Saemann's grandfather, Georg Grossman.
In addition, the Foundation regularly makes grants that support libraries, volunteer programs, hospitals, colleges and other organizations.
